Options For A Molecular Biologist in Criminalistics

Hi, I am pursuing my post graduation in Molecular Biology. I have great interest in Criminalistics and it's my dream to work in this field. I have no background or anyone to guide me in this field so I would be grateful if someone could kindly provide me with the appropriate possibilities that I have to get into this field.

Would a diploma degree in Forensic sciences or Criminology work for me or I need to have post graduation in this subject?
