Gunpowder Residue Forensics

Tests on the hands of an apparent suicide victim revealed barium, lead and antimony. However, the lab decided the amount of antimony was not enough to declare the hands had gunpowder residue.



What is the amount of antimony necessary before it can be scientifically decided that the hands have gunpowder residue?

Also, are the standards different for different states?
