Forensic Science Laboratory Technician Salary

I am thinking of doing a course in chemistry and forensic science in college. I am also well aware it is nothing like CSI. I was hoping to work in state laboratory and was wondering how much would I earn in a year. I hope to study at the university of Cork, Ireland.
