Forensic Facial Reconstructionist

I'm looking into studying to become a forensic facial reconstructionist, I love the arts and I think this would be perfect for me. Is there a set salary that one would earn? Or do they only pay you when they need you? How much does a forensic facial reconstructionist get paid?

I know it varies but could someone please give a more or less an average range.
