How to get a job within the Police
by: David Goodwin

Hi,

In a recent past life I was in charge of a Fingerprint Bureau / Development Laboratory and regularly had to recruit staff.

My one bit of advice would be this.. move sideways and possibly down a bit for a few years and get a simple admin job with the organisation you choose, may rationale for this statement is this.. many jobs have to be advertised within the organisation first before going to the press.

Once you are settled and have worked for them for a few months you are eligable to apply for that vacancy before the thousands of others who can only read the advert in the paper.

Hope it helps.
