Forensic Anthropology Identification Factors

I've recently seen an identification made from previous x-rays of the skull in comparison to the sinus cavity. The victim was 15, completely decomposed, and had never been to the dentist so odontology identification was not a possibility.

I also heard that a person's sinus cavity was as unique as a fingerprint, however, I can not find any specific information on this particular subject. I have been a full time student for 2 years and have never heard of this. Can you please state your opinion and suggest where information on this particular subject may be obtained. Thanks for your help.
