Criminalistics Question

Hey everyone, I am 13 years old and for a while now I have been interested in forensic science. I know I'm probably too young to be planing out my career but I like to plan things out a little more early for some reason.


I would like to go to the crime scene and take the pictures and collect evidence, then I would like to go back to the lab and analyze the evidence. I have reasearched forensic science and all the different parts there is to it and the stuff I would Like to do kind of resembles criminalistics.

I'm I right or is there another part of forensic science that would be right for me?
