Blood Alcohol Content

Using head space gas chromatography to test for blood alcohol content, how much variation is acceptable in the results. For instance, I know of a blood sample that was ran twice returning results of .086 and .092. That's a 7% difference. Would it be expected that there was an error somewhere?
