Stage of Decomposition
by: Leanne

Thanks, would that be the same if the environment wasn't tropical? Just the suburbs of a city. No where too hot and in October?

Thanks

Stage of decomposition
by: Gerardo Camoriano

Depending on other climatic conditions (mainly temperature), as well as the presence of flies or preying animals (even domestic animals like dogs) I'd say the decomposing stage would be fairly advanced in a tropical setting. Facial recognition alone would be very difficult, but other means of identification would still come in handy; such as: dental records, scars, tattoos, prostheses, DNA profiling.
