Chloroform in fat & skin/hair
by: Anonymous

In the case of someone inhaling chloroform over a period of weeks one would expect to find significant concentrations in fatty tissues. In the case of surface contamination for example someone held in the trunk of a car (after death)where chloroform was present I would expect to find a concentration in skin and hair, but without significant concentrations in deeper fatty tissues. In the case of significant exposure over a period of weeks I would expect to find evidence of liver damage.
