I think puffer fish is another
by: Anonymous

I think pufferfish is another one. I've heard witch doctors using this in their potions to create zombies, but scientists figure pufferfish is a paralytic that makes a person appear dead and then "resurrected".

Check out the latest Sherlock Holmes movie for another possibility
by: Anonymous

The 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie used one such drug. The plant it came from was mentioned, but I can't remember it, and I don't know if it is fiction or fact. But you can rent the movie and check it out.

Mandrake is one possibility
by: Anonymous

I saw on a documentary about Jesus that one such drug is mandrake. It has powerful sedative qualities and was well known for this since antiquity. They were exploring the possibility that Jesus was given a dose of mandrake while he was on the cross to fake his death and then revive him later on.
