Forensic Field Work

Hi. I would like to work in the forensic field but I am more interested in working outdoors in the investigation part of the job rather than doing lab work. Something more like the tv shows, though I know they are not like that in reality, but please suggest me something close).

If you could also tell me about courses in Australia it would be very much appreciated.
